For this reason, verification of your details as a Host will be required when creating an account or before publishing your property on the platform. This process, also known as "Know Your Customer" (KYC), ensures that Bookerty complies with its legal obligations and protects both Hosts and Guests.

Bookerty fully respects your privacy and uses your information exclusively for verification purposes. Your details are stored securely and used for:

  • Ensuring the company's compliance with applicable regulations.

What Information Is Needed for Verification?

When you register or before your first hosting, you will be asked for the following:

  1. Full Legal Name: The name as it appears on your ID or passport. This may differ from the name on your Bookerty profile.
  2. Residential Address: The physical address of your residence, which may differ from your property's address.
  3. Date of Birth: Used to confirm your age and identity.
  4. Citizenship or Nationality: Used only for identification purposes.
  5. Identity Document (ID): You will need to upload a valid ID, passport, or driver's license for verification.

What Happens If the Account Is Not Verified?

Once the process becomes mandatory at launch, failure to provide the required information will result in:

  • Restricted access to your account features, such as publishing a property, etc.

Bookerty will notify you via email or within the platform about the information needed and how to submit it so you can host guests on the platform.
